CHESS IN SCHOOLS

Looking for an engaging and effective way to improve your students' critical thinking skills? Look no further than Liguanea Chess Club's chess in school program!

Chess has been shown to significantly improve critical thinking skills, which is why so many countries have embraced the game as a valuable educational tool. At Liguanea Chess Club, we have introduced chess programs in several schools in Jamaica, including Emmanuel Christian Academy, Hillel Preparatory, Hillel High, American International School of Kingston, Reach Academy, and Mona Preparatory. We have also managed programs at several other institutions, including University of Technology, Queens High School, Jamaica College, Meadowbrook High, Merl Grove High School, Camperdown High, St. Andrew Preparatory, Vaz Preparatory, Liberty Academy, Lanamans Preparatory, Mavisville Preparatory, St. Richards Primary, St. Aloyisious Primary, Operation Restoration Christian School, and Hope Valley Experimental School. We have even promoted chess in schools in Mandeville and Montego Bay!

The success of our chess programs in these schools has been remarkable. Mrs. Suzanne Williams, principal of Liberty Academy, noticed that the students in the chess club were the top performers in their examinations. Mrs. Tamika Benjamin, the former principal of Mona Preparatory School, noted an unusual spike in GSAT examination results just six months after chess was introduced in the school's curriculum. And Ms. Adjoa Dawes of Emmanuel Christian Academy reported that the children were very eager to participate in the weekly chess sessions, and were more motivated to come to school as a result.

At Liguanea Chess Club, we are ready to expand our chess in school programs to other schools. And if in-person instruction isn't possible, we also offer our program online. So don't miss out on the opportunity to give your students the gift of improved critical thinking skills with Liguanea Chess Club's chess in school program!
